To cure your hay fever, go with haymaking!

Allergy?

To cure your hay fever, go with haymaking!

Andre De Zutter M.D. NTE -allergologue

"Spring is HELL for those who suffer from hay fever" to write the Newspaper this February 2010.
Alder and hazel are in bloom and should shed pollen, but by frost the studs remain closed. This will lead to an "Explosion" of pollen soon in Spring. The positive effect of winter ensures that there are fewer mosquitoes and wasps, because many queens do not survive the long cold.

Typically, when one hears the word “allergy”, runny nose, itchy, watery eyes, rashes, swelling hives, itchy throat and endless sneezing are the first symptoms that come to mind. These reactions can develop

anywhere from a few minutes to within two hours of contact with an allergen. The main culprits are usually environmental with examples being: dust, pet dander, latex, some drugs or inhaled pollen.

Secondary allergies are always due to food. Various PollenThese reactions produce different symptoms that most would not equate with an allergic response, namely: stomach aches, frequent heartburn, bloating, insomnia, headaches, etc. I will discuss them separately in my new upcoming book.

Vol. 15 May 2009
Now what have pollen and allergy with each other?
According to Professor Didier Ebo, allergist at the University Hospital of Antwerp, has pollen everything to do with allergies. And that's true according to the classical theory that pollen is the cause of sniffling, sneezing and itchy eyes.

However, it is only the stimulus that the weakened immune system reveals.
Take Professor Dubos of the Rockefeller University, New York. He has discovered the first commercially available antibiotic in 1936. He also sponsored the first "Earth Summit" of the United Nations in 1972.  He was considered the leading and prominent traditional medicine physician. Also Professor Dubos says about the allergy phenomenon the following: ‘When the body comes in contact with pollen, some react with sneezing, sniffling and swelling of the nasal mucosa. This is not a disease. It is only a reaction of the body to prevent worse’.

So what about common advices as a pollen allergy is best treated by reduction of exposure, so keep the windows closed, limit outside activity during pollen season and purchase an air filtration system.Various Pollen
When the undersigned was still a snotty one of his nephews had hay fever. And so came the doctor, and he came by horse and cart. And the doctor said, perhaps in mind Prof. Dubos, all what nephew had to do is but joining the peasant sons while haymaking. The first hay period was awful for him. Whole days he sat sniffling and coughing that no longer a handkerchief was discernible.
But his parents encouraged: "Hang on boy, the doctor said so!”.
The second year, the trouble started back, but surprising was that it had become bearable for the boy. And the third year the apotheosis, he was in fact no longer suffering from hay fever.
What had happened here?
Pollen grains are stimuli that come our way. And if our resistance is weakened, we respond hypersensitive. Our resistance uses his last strength to protect us. Else nothing would happen.
These external prickles stimulate the defense systems, which is weak and insufficient. So the body puts in such other drifters: sniffling, coughing and sneezing. Until we use nasal sprays and antihistamines, we prevent our body to strengthen its defense mechanism for another confrontation with the pollen. Further, the toxins from these medications will overload the body.

The medicine that I try to emphasize is working together with the healing power of the body instead of pushing it away. Where nasal sprays and antihistamines combat the symptoms which reflects insufficient defense mechanics, homeopathic remedies just tickle these defenses. Through this mild irritation the defense mechanisms will be strengthened adequately.
And the body will have no need for additional drifters. So will sneeze and snivel disappear.

Here’s to a dry allergy season!
