Homeopathy as always under fire.            Andre De Zutter M.D. NTE 9/2009

Recently the WHO stated that homeopathic therapies can no longer be used to cure diseases as TBC, diarrhea, fever, malaria or HIV. Those in favor of this condemnation would confirm that statements of homeopaths are lies, those against would say that homeopathy and ordinary medicine must go hand in hand. Let me, as a ‘classically-raised’ physician, elaborate on this after 50 years field experience.

Let me define the partisans and the antagonists of the `Homeopathy', as the PROS and CONS. It are however two facets of the same medal.

The ‘CONS’ treat according to the mechanical-causal principle, i.e. the body is as a ship which incurs damage and as soon as possible needs repair. E.g. you become indisposed, you get pain in the region of your udder, you sweat, everything becomes black for your eyes and you threaten to lose conscience. An alert witness rings 101. You are taken on emergency and the doctors determine a heart infarction there. The cause (A) on the horizontal level is silting up of a small vein with limited die of tissue. The consequence (B) also on the horizontal level is that you are immediately breathed upon with artificial air, you get dosed with blood anticoagulants till all danger have yielded and you can return home. Splendid work you will say, which is true. Those doctors have saved your life.

Professor René Dubos, Rockefeller University - New York, discoverer of the first in the trade available Antibiotic in 1939, also initiator of the first `TOP of the EART' of the United Nations in 1972, wrote:

“I have always the feeling that the only problem with scientific medicine is, that she is not scientific enough. Modern medicine will only then become a real science if doctors and patients learn to handle the strengths of BODY and SPIRIT, which works by means of the ‘VIS MEDIATRIX NATURAE’, the healing strength of nature.



And so we come at the ‘PROS’ of homeopathy. The ‘pros’ work according to the energetic-synchronicity principle. Where then the heart infarction is the top of the iceberg. It is a short circuit in the system, which you must pay with your life, if there is no fast intervention.     Now however the real job starts. A closer research proves that your blood pressure and cholesterol levels are too high, you here and there have plaques (hardened plates of sclerosis) in your blood vessels. To avoid a new heart infarction you will have to move more, breathe deeper and adapt your nutrition. These accompanying measures are necessary to guard yourself for further decay. However you are not healed. The proof: you must take several medications to keep the parameters at an acceptable level.

During a homoeopathic consultation all indicators of imbalance come to table: physical, mental (worry, anxiety,…), emotional (grieves, aggression,…) and problems of the soul (insights, anguish,…).

The next metaphor will make it clear. You have an onion which you peel off.

The outer peel reflects only the physical symptoms. In our example it is a short circuit in the system: the heart infarction.

The following layers reflect mental and/or emotional problems and the core the spirit, which know all their own specific problems.

True ‘healing’ takes only place when there is curing at all the different levels.

The problem of the core is responsible for the symptoms.

For this a homoeopathic treatment is advisable. It is not for nothing that homeopathy is called the medication of the soul. Homeopathy penetrates to the core and repairs the energetic balance at the different levels. Homeopathy works energetically at several levels, at physical, mental-emotional and even at the spiritual level. This takes place on the ‘vertical’ level, in the here and now. In the what JUNG called as ‘synchronicity’.

With homeopathy you will accompany the symptoms with small energetic stimuli, such as they occur at physiological level.

Emotional

Physical

As soon as you have understood WHY you got a heart infarction, you no longer need the symptoms and they disappear as snow for the sun. You are then healthy again.

Then only you practice modern medicine as questioned by R. Dubos. You take the diagonal of horizontal and vertical level and you become magician. You treat holistically according to the energetic-synchronicity principle without losing sight of the mechanical-causal principle.

This is ‘real’ medicine. You leave all possibilities open so that you can accompany the patient optimally.
